Function block of Mecc Alte SR7

Mecc Alte SR7 TTTT is a negative feedback system in which the constant parameter is the voltage output of the generator. This voltage, after appropriate adjustment, is compared with the signal that is stabilized in terms of voltage and temperature. The output is an error signal which, when properly amplified and compensated, generates a control level that goes into the voltage regulator. The output of the SCR pulse generator with a continuously generated excitation voltage undergoes the conversion of the generator’s operating electromagnetics into the generator output voltage. The value of the output voltage is controlled by the sensor block.

This part of the voltage regulator circuit protects the generator from the possibility of over-triggering. When the value of the continuum voltage supplied to the generator inductor is higher than the value set by the established threshold. The interference delay of this protection temporarily overloads the generator without reducing the output voltage. Usually, this delay is about 15-20 seconds enough to ensure the engine starts.
