General information about Mecc Alte RCM2 capacitor electronic voltage regulator
The Mecc Alte RCM2 TTTT is an electronic voltage regulator designed to produce a constant output voltage from a capacitor-only generator. The RCM2 voltage regulator cannot be used in conjunction with the ECO2 type of energy-saving regulator (a device that slows down the engine when there is no load on the generator).
The Mecc Alte spare part RCM2 electronic voltage regulator is equipped with automatic control of the applied voltage by adjusting the time: output voltage value, in this way the voltage is kept constant regardless of the load, temperature and within certain limits.
The system consists of the following main parts:
- RCM2 voltage regulator.
- Auxiliary capacitors.
- Additional capacitors.
In the case of generators with two auxiliary windings not connected in parallel, before using the RCM2 voltage regulator the two windings and their equivalent capacitors must be connected in parallel.
